W.C. Hartline has been writing since his late teens and has always been interested in writing a series. It wasn’t until he had finished his military service and worked almost 20 years in the jewelry industry, before he came up with the idea for the Gem Team Series.
 The characters in W.C.’s books are based on real people, their characteristics, their looks and their mannerisms. However, the names have been changed to protect the author from his friends.
